increasing. The Germans here not unnaturally resented

will no doubt be of interest,

residents who shortly after the War broke out openly

permitted between British subjects and Alian Enemies.

As time passes and the Germans begin to realise that at

the best they cannot gain much by the War (they still

refuse to admit the possibility of defeat) the feeling of
